Nitin Namdeo"The more time you spend with nature, the deeper your understanding of life will be.”
What circumstances most easily help you connect with the wonder and energy of life?
I connect most easily when I spend time in nature especially around trees; when giving or receiving healing; when companioning or consciously holding space; in solitude when meditating or through mindful movement when practising Qigong. My Qigong practice is deeply meditative and calming and allows my body to feel anchored to the earth and centred at my core.
I invite you now to take a few moments and place yourself in the circumstances that work best for you:

What is Grounding and Why is it so important?
The human body evolved in contact with the earth, and it needs to maintain this natural contact to function well and healthfully. When we are grounded, we are solid and present. People find us easy to be with, they feel safe with us and trust us.
Being centred is about being present, being in the here and now, and having an awareness of the subtle sensations in our physical body. All of our energies are gathered together in one place, and we are focused, connected, and have clarity. We are mentally and emotionally present and can concentrate on what is at hand.
When we are grounded and centred, we start to be in rhythm with our life and it flows more easily – synchronicity starts to occur. We are focused, aware, conscious of our thoughts and feelings, calmer, our body relaxed, balanced and at ease. Situations in life are easier to deal with and we have a sense of purpose.
I make my best decisions when I am grounded because this state of being helps me connect to my heart centre and inner wisdom. Being centred and grounded is an act of self-care from which I enjoy better health, increased vitality and find it easier to manifest my ideas.
