This privacy statement sets out how Chrysalis Healing Foundation (CHF) uses and protects any information that you give CHF when you use this website. We at CHF are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This statement was updated in May 2018 following changes to Data Protection Laws.
The information we collect and how we use it:-
We may collect your name and contact information such as email address or postal address when you contact us via this “Contact” page. We require this information to understand your needs and respond appropriately to your request.
We do not store the personal information provided once we have responded to your request, unless you become a client or make a booking to attend a workshop or event. We may from time to time inform you about new services or future workshops and events.
Those persons aged 16 or under require parental / guardian permission to provide us with personal information.
How data is stored
All client records, including workshop booking forms, are handwritten and locked in a filing cabinet in a locked building and every effort is made to keep this information secure.
How we protect your information
We do not provide any personal information to third parties or use this information for any purpose other than those listed above except as in accordance with any agreement we have with you or as required by law.
We respect your right to privacy and will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018.
Rights of Access and Updating your details
You have the right to access personal information we hold about you. There is no charge for this. We aim to respond to your request within 30 days, and if for any reason we cannot do so, we will let you know.
You also have the right to request the correction of inaccurate personal information you believe we may hold. If you would like to have your information deleted then please get in touch.
Any confidential information to be deleted and held on paper will be disposed of as confidential waste i.e. via a paper shredder.

All information submitted to a third party social media application, in accordance with this website, should be considered as public information and is not covered by the Chrysalis Healing Foundation privacy statement.
